I still can't believe that Isaac is a whole 1! It's been a year. A year since I went through 3 days of labor (or was it 4?), a year since he turned a little yellow and had to sleep on a bed of neon, a year since we slept in 1 hour shifts (wait, that happened last night too), a year since life completely changed for us both (oh, and Lucy the Dog too of course). Sometimes it feels like it's been 6 months, other times 6 years, but however long it has been Isaac is certainly the best thing in our lives. It's been an up and down year but it's ended on Up and always will because of this perfect little man.
Isaac is all of the following:
smiley (at everyone and everything)
flirty (loves the ladies!)
giggly
goofy
attention grabbing (bring Isaac anywhere and heads will turn)
charismatic (see above)
energetic
ticklish
speedy (suddenly and always!)
grabby
sleepy (but not last night)

pulling things off the wall/shelves, fridge, Lucy

going for long walks when I get home from work so he can nap in the great outdoors (aka: in a stroller on the city sidewalks b/c I don't do the "great outdoors")

dumping boxes of toys onto the floor

not getting food or drink when he wants it (just like mommy)
sleeping through the night
rolling off his back (we blame this on the wedge)
cupcakes (seriously, how can this be?!)

Head size…wait for it…: 95%!
He's all brain and no brawn, but we'll work on that. I hear they have tiny weights, often sold with the baby wigs. (or baby toupees). Maybe for his second b-day. (haha)
